The town council of Guimbal has found out that South East Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) extraction of water from Guimbal River is "illegal". The statement was based on the findings of the investigation conducted by the Sangguniang Bayan of Guimbal which recently prompted Mayor Richard Garin to continue to impose a deadline for the South East Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) to stop extracting water from Guimbal River.
