The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has filed two more diplomatic protests against China over its vessels’ continued illegal presence in the West Philippine Sea. “The DFA lodged on April 21 two new diplomatic notes in protest of the continued deployment, lingering presence and activities of Chinese vessels in Philippine maritime zones,” the department said in a statement yesterday. The two diplomatic protests were the latest among the scores filed almost daily against China for the continued presence of its vessels in Julian Felipe Reef, the DFA said.
