The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) reported yesterday the rescue of five passengers from a capsized motorbanca off Mati City in Davao Oriental. In an incident report, the PCG said the motor banca departed Barangay Macabol, Mati City and was heading to the Vanishing Island in Davao del Norte when the sea mishap occurred. Authorities said the motorbanca capsized when it encountered huge waves.
