    Excerpt
The four fishermen reported missing at the height of Typhoon “Dante” on June 2 survived the bad weather and were able to return home safely. According to boat captain Vicente Salvadico, 42, of Sitio Kawit, Barangay Binaobawan, he went out to check fish traps (arong in the local dialect) with sons Mark, 20, and Melvin, 18, and nephew Jareth, 16. Strong waves and winds destroyed their fish traps, according to Salvadico, so they sailed away.
