The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) in Davao Oriental rescued five people after their boat capsized off the coast of Mati City in the province on April 17. In a report, the Mati City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office said the boat went under water when it was battered by waves because of bad weather off the coast of Pujada Island around 3 p.m.
