Rep. Carlito Marquez is pushing for the creation of a center for fisheries and aquatic resources training, development and production in the province. The congressman filed House Bill 3063, which also seeks to promote inclusive growth in the local fishery sector. The landing centers also serve as venue for skills training, and processing, value-adding, and conservation and protection of fishery resources. "This fishery center will go alongside fish landing centers," said Marquez.
