A beach resort owner is riling against a contractor who uprooted mangrove trees along Purok Aning in Brgy. Pahanocoy here. Resort owner Aaron Sorbito accused contractor Andres "Andy" Taculod of violating environmental laws when the latter uprooted mangroves in their barangay since last week. Sorbito said he planted and nurtured the mangroves for 10 years only to be cleared by backhoes and workers in Taculod's employ.
