The Japan International Cooperation Agency has approved a P1-billion soft loan for the rehabilitation of the Iloilo Fish Port Complex in Iloilo City, a port official told local journalists over the weekend. Elmer B. Figuracion, port complex officer-in-charge, said the project, which will take three years to complete, includes installation of a solar-powered electricity system, construction of a fish processing plant and rehabilitation of the existing refrigeration plant.
