The John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (JBLFMU) vowed to protect, preserve and conserve the Igang Bay Marine Sanctuary in Nueva Valencia town. The recent launching of the marine sanctuary was attended by representatives from the premier maritime university of the country, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources and local government of Nueva Valencia led by Mayor Alejandro Araneta.
