Continuing his commitment to assist marginalized sectors in times of crisis, Sen. Bong Go personally led the distribution of assistance on Thursday to affected fisherfolk in the Island Garden City of Samal, a major tourism destination struggling to cope with the declining economy due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The senator's team provided meals, food and medicine packs, face masks and face shields to 343 fishers and gleaners at the municipal gym in Babak district. The activity was carried out in strict compliance with health and safety protocols.
