    Tilapia culture in freshwater ponds, pens and netcages is now widely practices in the Philippines. A tilapia culture system or man-made water impoundment offers a profitable livelihood to farmers and fisherfolks. AQD tested this system in cooperation with a people's organization and the local government unit in Bingawan, Iloilo.
