The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources in Central Luzon organized the Task Force Jupiter to stop rampant Illegal fishing in the area specially in Bataan and Zambales. Nelson Bien, chief of the regulatory and law enforcement of BFAR, said the task force was composed of law enforcement agencies like elements of the National Bureau of Investigation, National Intelligence Coordinating Agency, Philippines Navy, Philippines Coast Guard, Maritime Police under the over-all supervision of BFAR. During a media forum here, Bien said they were targeting and concentrating on the main sources of producing dynamite like powder, blasting caps, and detonating cord to stop at once illegal fishing in the area.
