Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan prodded the Duterte administration on Monday to include farmers and fisherfolk in the government’s anti-Covid game plan. Pangilinan pointed out Monday that farmers and fisherfolk are “frontliners too and should be prioritized in the government’s game plan to control Covid, including its plan to vaccinate essential workers.” Noting that farmers and fisherfolk are the ones who produce food for the people, Pangilinan asked, partly in Filipino, “shouldn’t they be priority in the vaccination plan?”
