Olive Ridley hatchlings released into sea in Cavite coastal town

In the middle of preparing for Noche Buena in each households in the country for Christmas celebration in the midst of pandemic caused by coronavirus disease, about 58 newly hatched Olive Ridley hatchlings was formally released into their natural habitat by Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (Menro) last December 24 at Sitio Longbeach, San Rafael IV, Noveleta, Cavite. Ed Chavez, head of Noveleta Menro, helped lead the release together with Board member Davey Christian R. Chua (First District of Cavite) and Arriane Mugol from Cavite Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (Penro) witnessed by local residents and tourists in the area.
