3 turtle weaklings released in Boracay

Three turtle weaklings under rehabilitation were recently released off the shores in Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan. The local government returned two Olive Ridleys (Lepidochelys olivacea) and one Hawksbill (Eretmochelys imbricata) turtles to their home safely. Haron Deo Vargas, Malay marine biologist, took care of the juvenile turtles while they were on a rehab.
