At least 110 fisherfolk here received livelihood assistance, including 40 banca engines and 70 fish nets, from the city government on Friday. Office of the City Agriculturist acting chief Romulo Pangantihon said the beneficiaries were poorest of the poor chosen from fisherfolk registration and checked with Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program data. They have an average income of P4,000 per month each.
