"The wood of mangroves are used for all sorts of things," Fredo continued, ignoring him, "from boats to electric posts to wooden handles. They can be turned to paper or charcoal. Not to mention that alligators, crabs, shrimp and fish, make the mangroves their home. Can you imagine what creatures we would catch if we cast a net under the roots of a mangrove tree?"
