    Excerpt
Iloilo Gov. Arthur Defensor Sr. said he wants to reassess the effectiveness of the campaign against illegal fishing, particularly the involvement of national government agencies. This, as illegal fishing, particularly super hulbot operation, continues to ravage the coastal waters of Northern Iloilo despite the enforcement of Republic Act 10654, which amended the Philippine Fisheries Code, since February 2015.
