    Excerpt
"Tales from Tubbataha" by Yasmin D. Arquiza and Alan T. White is the second edition of a survey of the "marine paradise" known as Tubbataha Reefs, "a pair of vast coral atolls sprawled in the middle of the Sulu Sea." To differentiate one reef from the other, they are called the North (the bigger one) and the South Reefs. The diversity of marine plants and animals there is the main reason there is a need to protect them.
